Welcome to the epicenter of the Metropolitan State University of Denver "Quixote Extravaganza," coordinated by the faculty of the Department of Modern Languages.

This two-month celebration commemorates the 400th anniversary of the publication of the second book of Miguel de Cervantes's masterpiece Don Quixote (1615). This initiative combines three primary events:

• THE QUIXOTE QUEST - an 8-week mission filled with challenges that unlock a final mystery;

• THE QUIXOTE ART CONTEST -  a campus-wide convocation of artists, poets and visionaries;

• METRO READS QUIXOTE - Cervates' masterpiece comes to life through a series of recorded readings by individuals, groups, and classes.
